Emission limits

VIVES performs periodic official controls in all the emission points (atomisation machines, dryers, kilns, dust depuration filters) and voluntary inspections by accredited organisms to certify the fulfilment of the environmental legislation.

On the other hand, since 1996 Vives counts with continuous measurement systems in the atomizer to check the real quantity of particles at every time and to detect possible problems in the depuration process. In 2008 VIVES set up filters in Azulejos Vives II to detect the dust in the aspiration premises.

Minimize dust emissions

VIVES also performs activities addressed to minimize the dust emissions in the clay provisions such as the periodical cleaning processes of premises to avoid the dust dispersion.
